A CME or CE stands for Continuing Medical Education. These are education courses medical providers take to maintain their certifications and to qualify for recertification.
All of the courses available on the Medic Materials CME Academy are certified for the CFR/EMR, EMT, AEMT & Paramedic levels. Each course description describes the type of credit earned.
Yes! We offer yearly contracts to many fire department and EMS companies to provide their providers a CME platform. Email us at [email protected] for more information.
It is free to sign up and browse the academy, however fees apply when purchasing courses.
All of the courses available through the Medic Materials CME Academy are certified as a NYS Continuing Medical Education course. This means that the credit earned here is good for all NYS EMS providers for recertification. If you are a provider outside of New York State please check with your recertification agent to see if our CME's can be counted towards your recert.
If you are a certified EMS provider in the state of Pennsylvania you can now utilize any CMEs via Medic Materials for your recert hours. Since these are certified through NYS, Pennsylvania will also accept these credits.
